Job summary

Garland Commercial Ranges is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to deliver expert technical and operational training to Factory Authorized Service Technicians. You will develop training programs, outlines, handouts, and tests, and manage the delivery of both internal and external training.

The role requires practical product knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to travel to support service networks.

Qualifications

• Strong software applications including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to present technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Must represent the company in a professional manner while traveling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• In depth and advanced knowledge of assigned product line(s).
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively with all levels of management and staff and internal/external service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical training to FAS field technicians on Garland product line equipment.
• Develop training materials and curricula for product lines, including outlines, text, and tests.
• Coordinate logistics of field classes and training delivery.
• Maintain accuracy of training materials for current and past production equipment.
• Assist in escalations during training weeks when not traveling.
