Job summary

Garland in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking a Tech Service Specialist to provide technical phone and email support for Garland products. You will analyze field data, advise on parts, and assist in determining repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely resolutions.

The role requires a technical degree, 4+ years of field service experience, strong reading of schematics and wiring diagrams, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong technical background with knowledge of gas and electricity, and the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Must communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal, with all staff levels.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with minimal supervision.
• At least 4 years of related field service experience, preferably in food service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical phone and email support for Garland products to customers, service techs, and agencies.
• Advise customers on replacement and repair parts information using company systems.
• Assist in determining needed repairs from field data and customer discussions.
• Identify and resolve customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, and delivered condition.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and support dispatch as needed.
