Job description

Position: Technical Training Specialist

This role involves developing, refining, and delivering a high-quality training program, including detailed materials and support for a global security system. Responsibilities include creating, updating, and maintaining training documents, videos, and support materials in a timely manner. The training program encompasses COTS software such as Hirsch, CCure, Keywatcher, Genetec, and Intellex, as well as a customized PSIM system.

This position requires on-site work five days a week in Alexandria, VA 22315, and requires an active Secret Government clearance.

Key Duties:

• Maintain and update training plans for various user groups
• Develop detailed training documentation and user guides
• Create lesson plans and training videos
• Coordinate with other teams on new training initiatives
• Manage the training environment on a secure network

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with security systems such as Genetec, ExacqVision, Intellex, Bosch, CCure, Hirsch, Keywatcher, with certifications preferred
• Remote troubleshooting and customer support experience
• Experience developing custom PSIM and VMS solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to produce quality deliverables
• Flexibility and adaptability in challenging environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Technical Skills (a plus):

• Video management systems experience
• Knowledge of Windows OS and networking principles
• Database and client-server environment familiarity
• Technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with physical access control systems, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity
