About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Training Instructor to join our automotive training team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical/diagnostic automotive experience, including leadership in technical training within the industry. ASE Certification in A6, A8, and L1 (or the ability to obtain L1 within the first year) is strongly preferred. As a subject matter expert, you will lead technical training sessions with customers and clients. Collaboration, a growth mindset, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Automotive Technology or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of technical/diagnostic automotive experience and experience leading technical training
  • Expertise in electrical systems, programming, engine management, drivability, and EVs
  • ASE Certification A6, A8, and L1 (or the ability to obtain L1 within the first year). ASE Master Tech with L1 is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, training, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in oscilloscope and scan tool data analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%; valid passport, driver’s license, and clean driving record
Key Responsibilities
  • Support Niterra's product and technical training programs
  • Enhance brand visibility through training sessions and shop visits for feedback
  • Participate in industry events to promote Niterra brands
  • Create content for technical articles, videos, and case studies
  • Maintain and update training documentation as directed by the Manager of Training
Physical Requirements
  • Correctable vision and hearing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Travel using public transportation
