Job summary

SPX Technologies in Chicago, IL, seeks a Technical Training Manager to develop and deliver hydronic heating product training to contractors, distributors, engineers, and sales teams. You will translate complex concepts into practical teaching and support field technical needs across the Weil-McLain brand.

Travel about 50% and collaborate with Product Management, Technical Service, and Engineering to improve training content and drive product adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years in hydronics/HVAC field including technical training or similar.
• Minimum of three (3) years hands-on experience with boiler installations and electrical applications.
• Strong knowledge of hydronic heating systems, boiler applications, controls, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical instruction for contractors, distributors, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional technical training and develop advanced product and service training for industry professionals.
• Deliver training in instructor-led, virtual, field-based, and hands-on formats.
• Create training content, modules, presentations, and demonstrations for Weil-McLain School of Better Heating.
