Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Mgr, Technical Training to lead field-based hydronic training for Weil-McLain products. You will develop and deliver advanced training for contractors, distributors, engineers, and sales professionals, and partner with regional sales teams to improve technical competency and product adoption.

This role requires deep hydronics expertise, exceptional teaching skills, and the ability to travel about 50% across the Chicago area and national partner sites to support

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in hydronics/HVAC/boiler field roles including training or related experience.
• Strong ability to diagnose and communicate complex mechanical/electrical issues.
• Excellent public speaking and instructional delivery to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver field-based hydronic training for Weil-McLain products to contractors, distributors, engineers, and sales teams.
• Develop and deliver multi-format training content (in-class, virtual, hands-on) and update materials.
• Coordinate with regional and national teams and lead Train-the-Trainer sessions.
• Facilitate technical training events and support new product introductions.
• Travel approximately 50% to customer sites, shows, and partner facilities.
