Job summary

Weil‑McLain is seeking a Technical Training Manager to develop and deliver high‑quality hydronic heating product training for contractors, distributors, engineers, and sales professionals. You will support regional sales by strengthening technical competency, introducing new products, and helping customers specify and install Weil‑McLain solutions.

The role combines deep hydronics expertise with excellent teaching and communication skills, translating complex concepts into practical learning

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in hydronics, HVAC, boiler, or related field.
• Minimum of three years hands-on boiler/thermal equipment experience.
• Strong public speaking and facilitation skills for technical instruction.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into practical training.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for training and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional technical training within the territory.
• Develop and deliver advanced product training for contractors and engineers.
• Create classroom, virtual, and hands-on training content and materials.
• Lead School of Better Heating programs and regional events.
• Offer field technical support and guidance during customer meetings.
• Train new sales staff to strengthen product knowledge and support.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing on training needs.
• Maintain training schedules, materials, and documentation.
• Travel to customer, distributor, and trade events as needed.
