Job summary

• Development of job aids, quick reference guides, videos, and multimedia learning materials.
• Advanced curriculum development and instructional design skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage training initiatives across IT and instructional technology programs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across executive leadership to end users to ensure training effectiveness.
• Assess training gaps and design solutions to improve workforce readiness.
• Support Florida government technology modernization projects, including Florida PALM.

Job description

Minimum 2 or more years of training management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or similar platforms.

Ability to keep stakeholders informed appropriately.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Able to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.

Ability to communicate effectively with audiences ranging from executive leadership to end users.

Experience interacting with functional groups within the Accounting organization to communicate and clarify customer requirements.

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience using SharePoint for collaboration and document management.

Experience working under general direction of senior level management.

Ability to identify training gaps and develop solutions that improve workforce readiness.

Experience working with the State or with other governments similar in size in terms of annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count.

Knowledge and/or experience with the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) subsystem.

Knowledge and application of Finance and Accounting practices

Knowledge of Florida PALM project

Knowledge and application of State of Florida financial, accounting, budgeting, procurement, or grants management processes.

Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Track record of taking responsibility for end-to-end execution of tasks/assignments.

Demonstrated experience leading training initiatives.

Certification in Project Management (PMP), Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), ATD, Prosci Change Management, or related professional certifications is desirable.
