Job summary

Clarke Power Services is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training to Clarke Fire employees, customers, service dealers, OEMs, and field technicians nationwide. You will collaborate with SMEs, Engineering, Production, and Customer Support to ensure training materials reflect current products and best practices.

The role includes on‑the‑factory-floor observations, demonstrations of equipment operation, and documentation management.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication to explain complex concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning technologies.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, and project management abilities.
• Technical/mechanical experience in diesel engine, power generation, or related equipment.
• Ability to interpret manuals, drawings, schematics and service docs.
• Willingness to travel to support training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house factory training courses and fulfill training requests nationwide.
• Coordinate hospitality, facility readiness, participant communications, and materials.
• Develop training materials and assessments with SMEs.
• Manage technical documents and ensure current, version-controlled content.
• Serve as the primary contact for training inquiries and registrations.
• Evaluate learner performance and drive improvements in delivery.
