Job summary

Clarke Power Services, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Technical Trainer to deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training nationwide.

You will develop, maintain, and manage accurate technical documentation across the organization, working with SMEs, Engineering, Production, and Customer Support to reflect current products and best practices. You will use LMS and Microsoft Office, conduct on-floor observations, and lead classroom sessions and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with LMS and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated technical/mechanical experience in diesel engine, power generation, fire protection, or related industrial equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, and service documentation.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations and training venues.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house factory training courses and fulfill training requests from customers and dealers nationwide.
• Coordinate hospitality, facility readiness, participant communications, and materials for training events.
• Develop training materials and assessments in partnership with SMEs and document essential curriculum content.
• Manage and maintain technical documents including operation manuals and service bulletins; ensure version control and accessibility.
• Serve as the primary contact for training inquiries, manage course registrations and attendance records.
• Evaluate learner performance and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement in training delivery.
