Technical Training Instructor – Emerson, Marshalltown, IA (Hybrid; Full Time)

Responsible for delivering in-person and virtual technical training, updating course materials, maintaining expertise on Fisher Division products and supporting curriculum development per IACET guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled training sessions at Marshalltown campus, customer sites, sales representative offices, and regional training centers.
• Collaborate with partners to improve course curriculum, student materials, and workshops.
• Prepare instructional materials and equipment for classes.
• Work closely with Division product teams to develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of assigned topics and product offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Passion for learning and imparting knowledge to diverse audiences.
• Previous experience with adult technical learning.
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills.
• Self‑motivated, thrives in team and autonomous settings.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel in North America up to 50%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: Experience with Fisher Division products, Control Valve Engineering, or FIELDVUE technology.
