Job summary

Nikon SLM Solutions is seeking a Training & Documentation Specialist to develop and coordinate technical training programs and documentation across service, engineering, manufacturing, and quality. You will translate complex technical information into clear, actionable training materials, SOPs, and learning resources.

You will design content for instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, and hands-on formats; facilitate sessions; maintain standards; and collaborate with global teams to align North

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Technical Communication, Engineering Technology, Education or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in technical training, instructional design, technical documentation, or learning & development.
• Experience creating training materials and documentation in technical, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible learning materials and documentation.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, or technical procedures.
• Strong instructional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Experience designing and delivering instructor-led and/or digital training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve technical training programs for employees, service personnel, and other audiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs to capture knowledge and convert it into structured training and documentation.
• Create and maintain manuals, SOPs, work instructions, guides, and learning materials.
• Design content for instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, hands-on formats, videos, and self-guided learning.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops.
• Establish standards and templates for documentation and training materials.
• Coordinate review, approval, revision, and release of technical documentation.
• Support onboarding and technical development for service engineers and other staff.
• Maintain training records, curricula, course materials, and certifications.
