Job summary

Nikon SLM Solutions NA, Inc. is seeking a Training and Documentation Specialist to develop and coordinate technical training programs and documentation for our metal additive manufacturing products.

You will transform complex technical information into clear, accessible materials for service, engineering and operations teams. The ideal candidate will design a range of training formats, work with SMEs across multiple functions, and maintain standardized documentation templates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Technical Communication or related field.
• 4+ years in technical training, instructional design or technical documentation.
• Experience turning complex information into clear learning materials.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and technical procedures.
• Strong instructional writing, editing and communication skills.
• Experience with instructor-led and digital training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve technical training programs for employees, service personnel and other audiences.
• Collaborate with Service, Engineering, Applications, Manufacturing, Quality and SMEs to capture knowledge.
• Create and maintain manuals, SOPs, work instructions, guides and other learning materials.
• Design training content for instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, hands-on, video and self-guided formats.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed.
• Establish standards/templates for documentation and training materials.
• Coordinate review, approval, revision and release of documentation.
