Job summary

Aramark seeks a Technical Training Manager to lead the national Service Technician Training Center in Philadelphia/West Deptford, NJ, owning curriculum, certification standards, and hands-on delivery for ~420 technicians.

You will design scalable training across equipment, vending, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance, partnering with Ops, vendors, and HR to drive performance and standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent trade certification and technical field experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5-8 years of technical field service, equipment maintenance, or related trade experience.
• Certified or credentialed in one or more relevant trades (e.g., refrigeration/HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Hands-on experience with major OEM equipment vendors (e.g., Cornelius, Bunn, Manitowoc, Follett).
• Prior experience designing or delivering technical training curriculum, certification programs, or train-the-trainer content.
• Experience developing or supporting digital training content (instructional video, LMS).
• Willingness to travel ~10% for vendor engagement, equipment sourcing, and cohort support.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the technical training curriculum for core equipment, vending, plumbing, electrical, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and soft skills.
• Design, schedule, and deliver monthly hands-on training cohorts (3-5 technicians) at the Training Center.
• Partner with vendors to secure certification agendas and content; track vendor-led programs.
• Develop and maintain digital training content and LMS modules to scale training capacity.
• Define field escalation protocols and feedback loops to improve materials and standards.
• Collaborate with Ops leadership to align curriculum with company service standards.
• Track metrics like certification completion, first-time-fix rate, uptime, and retention.
• Translate certification achievement into pay progression with HR.
