Job summary

Ecolab's Field Service Technician role in the Newark, NJ market offers hands-on field service with installations, maintenance and issue resolution across Institutional segments. You will support customer programs, ensure brand standards, and collaborate with sales and service teams for a superior customer experience.

You will travel to assigned locations, operate a fully stocked vehicle, and complete accurate documentation while growing your technical and customer skills through paid training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment.
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other work orders.
• Evaluate account conditions and help ensure brand standards are met.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a stocked vehicle and support first-time fix.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab's value to customers and strengthen relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness and the customer experience.
