Job summary

Smurfit WestRock plc is seeking a Technical Trainer to strengthen on-floor certification and skills development for operators in our Wisconsin facility. You will partner with Operations Learning & Development to ensure rigorous training processes and practical assessments that align with line progression.

This role requires hands-on training delivery across all shifts, a focus on safety and quality, and a collaborative approach to developing SOPs, learning aids, and effective onboarding for new

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience conducting/leading training, including On-The-Job training, or similar, in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily technical training on the floor to certify team members.
• Partner with OPS L&D to support New Hire Orientation / Onboarding training.
• Track, evaluate, and measure training using the company's Dept. Training Standards & Learning System tools.
