Job summary

SICK, Inc. in Bloomington, MN is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer II to design, deliver, and sustain hands-on training for customers, partners, and internal teams.

You will lead competency development projects and collaborate across Sales, Service, Engineering, and Product Management to translate complex technical content into practical learning experiences. The role requires five+ years in industrial automation or a related field, an associate degree (bachelor preferred), strong English

Qualifications

Five+ years in industrial automation, manufacturing, logistics automation, or related technical field; or experience teaching in related fields.
Associates degree; a four-year degree is preferred.
Professional written and spoken fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Assess and translate competency requirements into learning solutions.
Design, develop, deliver, and maintain hands-on and virtual training for products and solutions.
Develop measurable learning objectives and supporting materials; apply adult-learning principles.
Evaluate learner competency and training effectiveness; use results to improve solutions.
Lead technical training projects from planning through execution and evaluation.
Coordinate training programs, events, and resources; manage documentation and progress.
