Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to educate technicians and other teams across our warehouse solutions portfolio. The role includes classroom and on-the-job training, ensuring staff are proficient and aligned with customer expectations.

The trainer acts as mentor and subject matter expert while supporting safety and process standards. Employment is contingent upon completing Raymond Course Manager Training or equivalent train-the-trainer program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of forklift, automated warehouse solutions, vertical lift module, conveyor, energy solutions, and/or dock & door experience.
• Mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and/or electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Hand and power tool experience.
• Training experience or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and on-the-job training to technicians and other workgroups.
• Manage training schedules, classroom needs, and student engagement to achieve learning objectives.
• Assess and test employee competence in essential tasks.
• Maintain training certifications and up-to-date subject matter expertise on products and solutions.
• Coordinate training delivery, including reserving classrooms and ordering materials.
• Complete administrative items like travel bookings and rosters.
• Contribute to course material revisions and new training development.
