Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver training programs, coach technicians, and work with regional leadership to raise technical capabilities across the network. The role involves visiting repair centers, coaching staff, and ensuring compliant QC processes across markets.

Candidates should have 5–7 years in the industry, at least 2 years in training, a high school diploma or GED (post-secondary preferred), and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years of industry experience.
• At least 2 years delivering training preferred.
• Post-secondary education preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Applicable industry certifications.
• Attends required continuing professional education.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Delivers technical training, courses in the assigned area of responsibility. Completes and retains all training documentation.
• Visits repair centers to assess technical capabilities, including knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Provides coaching to technicians regarding application of technical skills and building efficiencies in the repair process.
• Monitors and coaches for full compliance on QC processes.
• Assists in the development of technician trainees and develops training clinics to teach repair skills.
