Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Technical Services professional to provide technical support and guidance to external customers and sales reps. You will troubleshoot, train on product use, and support operations to enhance quality and efficiency.

You will build expertise in Sherwin-Williams products, support the sales organization with customers, and collaborate with R&D, marketing, and operations to implement the business strategy.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of basic math skills and computer input/data analysis.
• Preferred: bilingual in Spanish.
• Trade school degree including paint application; military mechanical repair/refurbishment; associates or bachelor's degree in science curriculums.
• Familiarity with metal substrates and industrial paint/coatings application.
• Diagnostic troubleshooting experience and mechanical inclinations.
• Experience servicing industrial B2B customers.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer calls to deliver service and technical support in territory.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product quality, service, and delivery meet customer expectations.
• Resolve customer complaints per company policies and procedures.
• Respond to basic questions about product lines and operations; supervised in complex cases.
• Support product trials to ensure customer knowledge and understanding.
• Develop SME knowledge to demonstrate products and solutions to customers.
• Apply routine quality tools and analytical concepts to improve product quality and efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to foster trust.
