Job summary

Baxter is hiring aTechnical Support Specialist in Skaneateles, NY. This hybrid role combines remote troubleshooting with regular onsite collaboration to support hardware, software, and network issues across medical devices and enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in remote tech support or 2–3 years in tech/customer support, with experience in Microsoft OS, Active Directory, servers, networking, and security. Onsite presence is required for engagement and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; associate degree or technical certs are preferred.
• 1+ year in remote technical troubleshooting or 2–3 years in technical/customer support.
• Experience with Microsoft OS, AD and server environments; hardware, software, networking and security issues.
• Experience with installing/troubleshooting computer hardware and peripheral devices.
• Ability to follow regulated processes and maintain compliant documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote troubleshooting support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Document cases with issue IDs, steps, and resolutions.
• Process part replacements and case creation through internal systems.
• Assist escalation to R&D/engineering when needed.
• Provide technical guidance on hardware, software and connected devices.
• Update cases to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Identify recurring issues for product/process improvements.
• Utilize standard tools and knowledge resources to resolve issues.
