Job summary

ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide first-line technical support for hydraulic and braking system products.

You will serve as a primary technical resource for customers, distributors, OEMs, and internal sales teams by answering product questions, supporting product selection, troubleshooting issues, and managing technical inquiries through resolution.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of technical support, applications engineering, or related experience.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic or mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Customer-focused attitude and strong organizational skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical inquiries from customers, distributors, OEMs, and sales teams.

Job Description

ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide first-line technical support for hydraulic and braking system products. In this role, you will serve as a primary technical resource for customers, distributors, OEMs, and internal sales teams by answering product questions, supporting product selection, troubleshooting issues, and managing technical inquiries through resolution.

Working closely with Applications Engineering, you will gather application requirements, provide recommendations for standard applications, document customer interactions, and coordinate escalation of complex issues when needed.

Your profile as Technical Support Specialist:

• 1-5 years of technical support, applications engineering, or related experience, or 4+ years in a technical/mechanical role.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic or mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Customer-focused attitude and strong organizational skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now AND in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical field.
• Experience with hydraulic braking systems, mobile equipment, or off-highway applications.
• Experience supporting customers or sales teams in a technical environment.

The expected base compensation for this role is $65,700 - $82,100 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
