Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to partner with Service Technicians, Field Service Engineers, Sales teams, and customers to provide expert-level troubleshooting and support.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to investigate product performance concerns, drive design-to-service transitions, and develop comprehensive training materials for global teams.

Qualifications

• AS degree in a technical engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
• BS degree preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on field service or technical support experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support to customers, field service engineers, sales teams, and technicians.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to identify corrective actions for product issues.
• Drive transition of new products from design to service and represent service in product development.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for global teams.
• Deliver training sessions to field service engineers, customers, and technicians.
