Qualifications

• Technical diploma, vocational education, or equivalent practical experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or technical service.
• Three or more years of relevant technical service, equipment maintenance, field service, or customer support experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Willingness to travel occasionally based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers regarding equipment operation, maintenance, performance, and repair.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment concerns and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Assist customers and service technicians remotely with diagnosing equipment issues and identifying practical repair solutions.
• Review technical documentation, equipment diagrams, schematics, and service manuals to support effective problem resolution.
• Communicate troubleshooting procedures and repair recommendations clearly to customers and service personnel.
• Evaluate equipment performance issues and determine appropriate next steps.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and technical service teams to resolve complex equipment concerns.
• Support technical training, product-related initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist with coordinating service and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate customer service documentation and technical reports.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive, knowledgeable technical support.
• Participate in occasional business-related travel as required.
