Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team in Bozeman, MT. You will deliver advanced technical guidance for Vultr's cloud products, diagnose complex platform issues, and coordinate with engineering and operations to restore services quickly.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to internal knowledge, and help support enterprise customers. The role requires 3+ years in enterprise tech support, strong Linux skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise technical support or similar advanced role.
• Strong experience with Linux systems and CLI for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies for complex issues.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments in cloud/IaaS contexts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer service.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise GPU service delivery is a plus.
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries with technical guidance on Vultr products.
• Act as first responder to platform alerts and incidents and escalate as needed.
• Lead root-cause analysis and preventive actions for platform issues.
• Coordinate with sysadmin, engineering, networking to resolve outages.
• Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge base.
• Mentor junior team members and support enterprise environments.
• Provide timely updates and clear communication to customers.
