As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert and first point of contact for users, helping developers solve complex problems and get the most out of an AI-powered coding environment. You'll:
Provide high-quality, empathetic technical support through channels like Intercom and Slack
Troubleshoot and debug complex user issues with speed and clarity
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to resolve bugs and inform roadmap priorities
Maintain a deep, evolving understanding of the product and its capabilities
Identify opportunities to improve support workflows and user education
Help build a world-class support experience for technical users
This is a high-velocity, hands-on role—ideal for someone who loves being close to the product and thrives on solving real user problems in real time.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about devtools and supporting fellow developers. The ideal candidate has:
5–12 years of experience in technical support, software engineering, or related technical roles
A proven track record of resolving a high volume of technical support tickets
Strong debugging skills and the ability to break down complex technical issues
Experience supporting technical products with developer users
A solid understanding of SDKs, OAuth, and modern web development workflows
A background in or strong interest in AI-enhanced development tools
Exceptional written communication and support presence
Previous startup experience or a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
Prior experience using or supporting AI coding tools
Familiarity with modern LLM-based development environments
Active contributor to developer communities or experience with developer relations
Exposure to tools like Vercel, Prisma, Replit, or similar dev-focused platforms
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000, with flexibility based on experience
