Carnival Cruise Line seeks a Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Technical in Miami to drive strategic sourcing across ship systems, safety, hotel furnishings, navigation and maintenance. You will partner with North American brands and corporate teams to develop and implement integrated sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or similar discipline.
• MBA preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives in technical operations, hotel refurbishment, commercial construction or ship building.
• Excellent experience running RFPs/RFX using technology and eProcurement.
• Strong analytical skills including Excel-based financial analyses and market analysis.

• Lead assigned category portfolio across multiple brands and act as primary interface with stakeholders.
• Identify strategic sourcing opportunities to increase quality and reduce cost using deep spend analysis.
• Manage sourcing initiatives using a 7-step process including market and baseline spend analyses.
• Develop negotiation plans and contract strategies with key stakeholders.
• Manage key supplier relationships and ensure compliance with sourcing policies.
