Job summary

Carnival Corporation seeks a Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Technical to lead multi‑category sourcing across ship systems, safety, hotel furnishings, navigation, environmental, and maintenance for North American brands from a Miami base.

You will drive cost savings, supplier relationships, and risk mitigation through a data‑driven, 7‑step sourcing process and cross‑functional collaboration with Corporate and sister brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MBA preferred.
• CPSM or CPM preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Excellent experience in running RFPs/RFX with eProcurement.
• Excellent analytical skills: market, supplier risk, and spend analyses.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; strong presentation skills.
• Strategic sourcing thought leader; planning and implementation experience.
• Results-oriented; able to lead in fast-paced environments.
• Strong contract development and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned category portfolio across brands and manage cross-brand initiatives.
• Identify strategic sourcing opportunities with data-driven spend analyses.
• Manage 7-step strategic sourcing initiatives, including market and baseline spend analyses.
• Develop and execute negotiation plans with key stakeholders.
• Manage key supplier relationships and governance; drive value and risk mitigation.
• Deliver hard savings, cost avoidance, and sustainability goals; align with brand objectives.
