Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line in Miami is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to own enterprise-scale sourcing for marine and technical operations, including ships in operation and new builds. You will lead cross-brand initiatives and partner with senior stakeholders to shape priorities.

The role emphasizes disciplined cost analysis, supplier development, and risk management, delivering measurable value through complex negotiations.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in business or engineering.
• CPMSM/CPM/CPIS or PMP preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in procurement and strategic sourcing in maritime or asset-intensive environments.
• Experience across global maritime supply chains and enterprise-level objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-scale sourcing strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Own and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive long-term value and risk mitigation.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape priorities and sourcing outcomes.
• Lead commercial and bid evaluations to select optimal suppliers and contracts.
• Advise leadership on sourcing strategies based on market intelligence.
• Monitor market conditions and translate insights into actionable sourcing plans.
• Communicate complex insights clearly to secure stakeholder alignment.
