Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in area of expertise with 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree or MS; or 5 years of relevant technical experience.
• Understanding of fundamental concepts in area of expertise.
• Ability to apply sound and diversified knowledge of the principles and practices of the technical area.
• Proven computer skills appropriate for area of expertise.
• Time management to plan and prioritize work to meet goals.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent research and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent technical expertise and guidance in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems.
• Assist in training less experienced technical specialists.
• Plan, organize, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Prepare highly technical documents such as reports, specifications and analyses.
• Pursue continuous improvement of technical knowledge, skills, and performance.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
