Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County seeks a Technical Specialist 2 – Digital Inclusion Manager to oversee staff and daily operations of the Digital Inclusion division. You will mentor digital literacy educators and develop programs to boost digital equity, while forming partnerships with local and national organizations.

Responsibilities include managing grants, budgets, and reporting, plus representing the division at webinars and in-person events.

• Assist NPLF in completing grant proposals and applications.
• Provide mid‑year and final reports for funders.
• Keep abreast of new funding opportunities.
• Represent NPL nationally and conduct presentations and webinars as requested.
• Prepare and submit budgets, track spending, and submit purchase requests.
• Track and complete weekly/monthly/annual reports on patron registration, class completion and surveys.
• Coordinate with National organizations to license curriculum.

The Technical Specialist 2 - Digital Inclusion Manager position manages staff and the operations of the Digital Inclusion division. The position is also responsible for overseeing digital literacy educators, developing programs to increase digital literacy & digital equity, and establishing partnerships with local and national organizations to accomplish digital literacy & digital equity goals.

High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) years of experience overseeing Digital Literacy programs including two (2) years of increasingly responsible supervisory experience and/or project management experience.

*Additional education may be considered In lieu of some experience (1:1 Ratio)

*Substitution for supervisory/lead experience cannot be substituted.*

Note: Per Metro Ordinance No. SO94-1078. All employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment as a prerequisite to employment with the Metropolitan Government.
