Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for preventative maintenance and overall job planning within assigned work areas. Procures necessary parts, materials, and outside services to facilitate successful completion of Utilities preventative maintenance, venue project planning, and scheduling. Manages documentation related to parts procurement, preventative maintenance programs, and parts inventory.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage preventative maintenance: Ensure proper frequency and target completion to support operational schedules. Collaborate with utilities management in project planning by providing detailed scope of work, procedures, and estimates for time, materials, and resources. Prepare kits of parts and stage materials/equipment for work completion.
  2. Parts/Service procurement: Conduct comparative shopping, obtain bids, manage equipment rentals, and process work requests and work orders. Purchase and maintain utilities tooling, and handle all documentation and justification for purchases.
  3. Document control: Keep utility asset job plans current and compliant with manufacturer requirements (ECN/DCN). Work with Facilities/Utilities Engineering and manufacturers for updates, and generate reports as needed.
  4. Project planning: Serve as liaison between vendors and venues for utilities repairs and enhancements. Coordinate schedules with the Facilities Area Manager, write contracts and SOWs, and stage materials/equipment.
  5. Inventory management: Oversee critical spare parts, maintain accurate min/max counts, manage the satellite crib, and address part obsolescence and shortages to reduce overall inventory.
  6. Calibration and compliance: Manage calibration of precision equipment, ensure support equipment availability, and maintain chemicals in the EHS SDS Database.
  7. Safety and other duties: Follow environmental, health, and safety policies, participate actively, and perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school or Associate degree in General Education or Technology preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years in technical maintenance required.
  • At least 1 year in theme park maintenance preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
