Job summary

Tower 23 IT, based in North County San Diego, seeks a Technical Services Manager to lead technical standards, architecture, and service delivery. This in-office leadership role requires mentoring engineers and driving continuous improvement across tools, systems, and processes.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with team management to shape how services are designed and delivered for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, networking, security or related technology area.
• 10 years of industry experience.
• 5+ years in Managed Services, IT Consulting, or similar environment.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure, AD, SQL, Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical excellence across the company.
• Drive standardization across client environments.
• Develop engineers and raise the technical capability of the team.
• Improve project quality and technical execution.
• Balance technical excellence with business outcomes.
• Build a world-class managed IT, cybersecurity, and compliance practice.
• Lead technical design and scope for infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and modernization projects.
• Validate project scope, architecture and implementation plans.
• Drive automation and standardization initiatives.
