Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Technical Services Engineer to support, analyze, and qualify electronic, mechanical, and material components for our Ground Based Strategic Deterrence program. You will collaborate across teams, ensuring parts meet specifications and program needs.

The role involves Model-based Engineering, DevSecOps and Agile practices, with opportunities to influence part selection, supplier relations, and process improvements in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

BS in science, engineering or related field with 2 years of experience; or MS with no required experience
An additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor
Experience with Jira, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint
Experience in electronic, mechanical, or material component analysis and selection
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a US DoD Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Analyze engineering datasheets, specifications, and drawings to select and qualify electronic/electromechanical components
Support PM&P technical execution and analysis for Ground Based Strategic Deterrence programs
Review part selections for qualification alignment to MIL-STD-11991A, MIL-STD-1568 and other requirements
Draft component specifications to ensure manufacturability and program needs
Use program lists (PAPL, PAMPL, ASL) and supplier data during reviews
