Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the SDS Support Equipment team. You will coordinate with suppliers, review designs, and integrate with NG teams to ensure adherence to requirements and effective implementation of solutions.

The role involves participating in design reviews, researching, planning, and developing mechanical products with strong attention to detail and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 0 years (level 1) or 2 years (level 2) of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
• Experience performing CAD modeling with tools such as NX, SolidWorks, Creo, Catia, Autodesk, etc.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to understand and interpret requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers and review designs.
• Integrate with Northrop Grumman product teams to ensure requirements are met.
• Participate in design reviews and develop mechanical products and solutions.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
