Job summary

Schluter Systems L.P. is seeking a Technical Services Specialist in Plattsburgh, NY to manage data entry for case and warranty information and to support product inquiries. You will learn product lines and work with Sales, Marketing, Education teams to provide technical responses.

You will maintain multiple databases, draft updates, and participate in process improvements, with opportunities for training and professional growth.

Qualifications

• General computer skills including email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Works well in a team environment as well as individually.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Tile Installer / Construction - at least five years’ experience preferred.
• Project Management experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Enter case information and warranty data accurately.
• Maintain multiple warranty databases for products.
• Learn product lines and applications.
• Receive and validate technical inquiries; respond with team support as needed.
• Draft TINA database entries for common questions and updates.
• Maintain administrative files with deadlines and schedules of projects.
• Participate in development/improvement of Technical Services processes.
• Participate in Schluter business development projects.
• Participate in training as required.
