Job summary

SAIC seeks a motivated Technical Services Associate to join our Chantilly, VA team onsite. You will support field engineers, diagnose IT systems, and manage AV/VTC events with limited supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor's or equivalent experience, Security+ and an active TS/SCI clearance with a poly, plus the ability to lift 30 lbs. Candidates should be US citizens with onsite availability in Chantilly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to field engineers and product teams.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and networks.
• Manage work assignments through a ticketing system.
• Assist with moves, imaging, deployments and documentation.
• Support AV/VTC events, including setup and testing.
• Develop procedures to address AV/VTC requirements.
• Handle AV/VTC installations and hardware upgrades.

Role Overview – Technical Services:

• Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support teams in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, software,networked, and wireless systems.
• Manage work assignments and tasks through a ticketing system.
• Assistwith computer moves, system imaging, deployment, and ensure proper documentation of equipment reception and removal.
• Maintainand updateaccurateasset records.
• Support video-teleconferencing (VTC) and audiovisual events, including scheduling, setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing AV/VTC events with minimal supervision when necessary.
• Develop and implement procedures, policies, and technical solutions to address customers’ AV and VTC requirements.
• Participatein handling AV and VTC installations as well as hardware upgrades.

Qualifications

Required Certifications:

• Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree and 0-2 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
• Security+ Certification.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a Poly.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
• Experience providing onsite technical support.
• 1-2 years of experience doing hardware updates.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
