West Coast Energy Systems is seeking a Technical Service Trainer to deliver comprehensive training to technicians at the Houston service center. You will cover generator repair, installation, startup, operation and troubleshooting for Generac products.

The role requires strong instructional skills, curriculum development experience and the ability to write technical manuals and maintain documentation. Occasional travel and on-site collaboration with multiple departments are expected.

Qualifications

Three years field technician experience in HVAC, automotive, generator or similar discipline or three years combined field technician experience and technical training experience.
Experience in writing and presenting technical material is preferred.
Knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and basic documentation practices.

Responsabilités

Instruct/Train technicians in all aspects of generator repair and installation.
Develop and present technical training curriculum for service technicians.
Write and review technical documentation such as owner manuals, installation guides and service bulletins.
Establish warranty flat rates for new product prototypes.
Collaborate with internal departments to fabricate training units and materials.
