Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines.
• 5 years of Chlor-Alkali industry experience or closely related field.
• Knowledge of fundamental chemical principles, laboratory practices, and laboratory and process safety.
• High degree of problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to occasionally work weekends and holidays and respond to customer and OxyChem business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental, health and safety priorities as top responsibility.
• Provide technical support to customers, sales force, and management to maintain and grow the business.
• Serve as primary technical contact with customers and respond to inquiries.
• Develop technical data sheets and bulletins related to portfolio products.
• Train new Sales and Technical personnel on product applications and safe handling.
• Perform site assessments to ensure safe use and storage of products.
• Travel to support customers, sales and business needs.
