Job summary

Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, Kansas is seeking a Technical Service Specialist to convert technical know-how into outstanding customer support. You will troubleshoot Husqvarna Construction products, document every interaction, and connect field insights with the teams that improve our products and service.

This role requires strong mechanical or technical experience, CRM and ERP familiarity, and the ability to work closely with service technicians to resolve issues quickly in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• At least five years' mechanical or technical experience.
• Solid product knowledge and mechanical or technical ability.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and illustrated parts lists.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems, Excel, Word, AS400, and customer-focused sales.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming technical calls from internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot product issues and provide clear, practical guidance.
• Support and advise Service Technicians on Husqvarna Construction product repairs.
• Assist with product training and complete repairs as needed.
• Partner with Product Management, Customer Service, Manufacturing/Quality Control, and Research & Development on field issues.
• Contribute to warranty policies, procedures, technical bulletins, and biweekly team meetings.
• Administer or provide backup support for IPL maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming technical calls from internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot product issues and provide clear, practical guidance.

Keep the Details Moving

• Document calls and technical issues in the CRM.
• Enter RGA, sales order, and parts orders in AS400.
• Update individual KPIs and objectives quarterly and annually.

What You Bring

• At least five years' mechanical or technical experience.
• Solid product knowledge and mechanical or technical ability.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and illustrated parts lists.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems, Excel, Word, AS400, and Customer Focused Sales.
• A detail-oriented, organized approach and the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• A customer-first mindset and a talent for teaching and sharing knowledge.

Nice to Have

• Post-secondary technical training.
• Experience with Husqvarna equipment.
• SAP experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in a normal office environment with frequent computer and phone use, plus occasional exposure to job sites and manufacturing settings.
