Job summary

Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, Kansas is seeking a Technical Service Specialist to translate technical know-how into outstanding customer support. You will troubleshoot Husqvarna Construction products, document each interaction, and connect field insights with teams that improve our products and service.

You will support technicians, provide training, contribute to warranty policies, and collaborate with Product Management, Customer Service, and Manufacturing on field issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years mechanical/technical experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and illustrated parts lists.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Experience with AS400; SAP a plus.
• Customer-focused mindset with teaching/mentoring skills.
• Post-secondary technical training preferred; Husqvarna equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming technical calls from internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot product issues and provide clear, practical guidance.
• Support and advise Service Technicians on Husqvarna Construction repairs.
• Assist with product training and complete repairs as needed.
• Partner with Product Management, Customer Service, Manufacturing/Quality Control, and R&D on field issues.
• Contribute to warranty policies, procedures, technical bulletins, and team meetings.
• Update IPL and maintenance documentation; enter orders in AS400.
• Document calls and issues in the CRM; track KPIs and objectives.
