Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in materials science or related engineering with 2 years of experience in technical service, quality, manufacturing, or product development.
• Preferred: Bachelor's with 7+ years in technical service, quality, manufacturing, or product development; OR Master’s with 5 years.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support customers and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Solves technical problems with timely resolution of material claims and complaints and ensures complete documentation into our Global Quality Tracking System.
• Works with Manufacturing, Met QA, Supply Chain, and Sales to coordinate corrective action responses to customer claims.
• Manages communication from front-end group to mill-based contacts to improve adherence to customer specifications.
• Develops knowledge of technical requirements for customer products and processes through interactions with manufacturing, supply chain, and sales/marketing.
• Participates in non-claim calls and communicates technical developments with sales and application engineering teams.
