Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in metallurgy or materials science with emphasis on metals.
• Experience in metallurgical failure analysis of power transmitting and structural components.
• Hands-on metallurgical lab testing including metallography, hardness testing and SEM.
• Ability to read and apply material specifications, heat treatments and post finish processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform Material Failure Analysis (MFA) on ferrous and non-ferrous components.
• Produce detailed MFA reports with root cause and recommended corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design and test engineers during development and launches.
• Support quality, purchasing and supplier interactions on material-related issues.
• Operate and maintain materials lab equipment including SEM and hardness testers.
• Contribute to CNH Materials Standards meetings and standard development.
