Job summary

Vaco is partnering with a large international healthcare organization to hire a Technical Senior Accountant with a strong technical accounting background. This remote role offers a base salary of $80K-$115K plus potential bonus and exposure to complex accounting matters.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, Big 4 public accounting or equivalent technical accounting experience in a publicly traded company, and CPA or CPA progress. Strong communication and research skills are required.

Vaco is partnering with a large, international healthcare organization seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong technical accounting background to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 Senior looking to transition into industry while maintaining exposure to complex accounting matters or for someone with strong technical accounting experience in a publicly traded company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support technical accounting matters including M&A and purchase accounting, revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, and consolidations.
• Assist with accounting for debt and equity transactions and SEC reporting requirements.
• Research and interpret complex US GAAP guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical accounting matters and strategic initiatives.
