Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing Lexington team. This role supports the month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting assistance, and process improvements, partnering with operations and other departments to drive accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3–7+ years of experience, and strong GAAP knowledge with advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.

• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• ERP experience preferred (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, or similar).
• CPA designation or CPA-track preferred.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join a growing organization. This position will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and process improvement initiatives.
