Senior Accounting Manager

We are recruiting a Senior Accounting Manager to lead key accounting activities while remaining closely involved in day-to-day execution. This role will oversee the monthly close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities while helping strengthen accounting processes and controls. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including consolidation activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and related close activities.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reporting, and supporting schedules.
• Research and resolve complex accounting matters and ensure consistent application of accounting principles.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, documentation, and internal controls.
• Review balance sheet activity and investigate significant or unusual variances.
• Coordinate audit support and prepare requested schedules and documentation.
• Partner with finance and operational teams to improve the accuracy and flow of financial information.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency.
• Provide guidance and oversight to accounting team members while remaining hands-on with key deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA is required
• Progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidations, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and the close process.
• Experience leading complex accounting activities and reviewing the work of others.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to operate effectively in a hands-on environment.
