Job summary

Carotek, a SunSource company, is seeking recent graduates for a paid Sales Trainee program in Matthews, NC. You will learn our products, customers and territory, advancing to an Account Manager after training, with 100% hybrid work from home plus weekly customer visits in the southeastern US.

The program covers instrumentation, valves, pumps and more, with sales training to develop cold calling, pitching and closing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business; other majors considered.
• Desire to pursue a career in technical sales.
• Strong selling, communication, problem solving and time management skills.
• Telephone sales experience or internship is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Increase Carotek's name recognition with new/existing customers via outbound calls.
• Identify new business opportunities using sales tools, networking and cold calls.
• Identify decision makers and cultivate relationships in the technical manufacturing field.
• Discuss technical products and services with customers to grow sales.
