Job summary

Veratron US Inc. in Brookfield, Wisconsin is seeking a Technical Sales and Support Engineer (100%). The role covers sales and technical support for marine, powersports and industrial equipment markets, requiring collaboration with HQ, Factory and R&D in Switzerland.

Ideal candidates have a technical engineering background with 3+ years of sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and fluency in English. German/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of sales experience in marine, powersports, industrial equipment, or related technical industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills with ability to manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Good technical understanding of electronics and industrial products.
• Fluent English; German and/or Spanish is a plus.
• Open-minded, empathetic, and comfortable working in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of our standard product portfolio and customer-specific development projects.
• Manage and develop direct customer accounts and collaborate with external Sales Representatives.
• Develop and execute sales and business plans in close collaboration with Leadership and Product Management.
• Manage RFQ processes and new business opportunities from initial customer request through to project development.
• Provide technical product support and contribute market and customer insights to new product development.
• Support sales planning, budgeting, and trade shows in the US.
• Provide back-up support for order processing when required.
• Company orientation and training at our Switzerland HQ with travel for 1–4 weeks, then at least once a year for 2 weeks; additional domestic travel within the US up to 20% may be required.
