This position reports to

Sales Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will plan, present, and help manage new and existing ABB Analytics opportunities for our Continuous Gas Analyzer & CEMS business in the US. The ideal candidate will be technically knowledgeable, experienced in CGA and CEMS, articulate, and driven to meet and exceed customer needs. The work model for this role is remote, contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Houston, TX. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Communicating delivery times, payments, and general terms to customers in line with ABB’s offerings and strategy.
  2. Executing marketing activities and communicating our value proposition to customers.
  3. Identifying and developing new market opportunities in the designated area.
  4. Managing sales administrative procedures and supporting cash collection and project management as needed.

Qualifications for the role
  • An Associate's Degree in a technology-related field with at least 5 years of experience in instrumentation (as a customer, salesperson, technician, or project manager) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Analytics including GC’s, FTIR, Tunable Diode Lasers, CGA, and CWA. Knowledge of instrumentation is an asset.
  • Ability to leverage existing industry relationships to generate new sales opportunities for ABB.
  • Skill in designing solutions tailored to customer needs while integrating ABB products.
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels within ABB, channel partners, and end-users.
  • Candidates must have valid work authorization for the US.
