The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our team. This is a remote role based in the United States, with regular domestic travel required.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in technical sales within the military and aerospace coatings industry or cleanroom environments. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing expert guidance to clients on tailored containment and filtration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Qualify Opportunities: Research, identify, and engage potential clients within the military, aerospace, and cleanroom sectors who can benefit from Duroair’s containment and air filtration solutions.
Understand Customer Needs: Work closely with clients to assess operational challenges and recommend tailored solutions that address their specific technical and regulatory requirements.
Present Technical Solutions: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that clearly communicate the value, functionality, and advantages of Duroair’s systems.
Negotiate and Close Sales: Lead contract negotiations, manage the sales cycle, and close deals that align with both customer expectations and company goals.
Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Establish strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing responsive service, ongoing support, and continuous value.
Provide Technical Support: Offer pre- and post-sales technical assistance, including training, system troubleshooting, and solution customization.
Stay Current with Industry Trends: Monitor developments in the military and aerospace coating industry and cleanroom applications to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, generate sales reports, and contribute to forecasting efforts.
Promote Brand Visibility: Represent Duroair at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to build brand awareness and develop new business leads.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, marketing, and project teams to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and successfully implemented.
